Hydro Boost Water Gel.

the pleasant hydrator.

A hyaluronic-led gel that wears beautifully on oily and combination skin in summer. Modest claims hold; the marketing claims ("deeply quenches") don't. Use it for what it is — a light hydrator, not a barrier-repair cream.

When to reach for it.

  • Oily-skin daily AM moisturiser in summer

Pleasant under SPF; doesn't pile or pill.

  • Layering under heavier creams (winter)

As a humectant base before an occlusive.

  • Travel / gym bag

Light, absorbs fast, won't stain a t-shirt collar.

If not this.

Frequently asked.

Does the hyaluronic acid 'plump' my skin?

Surface hydration improves the look of fine lines temporarily. There's no dermal volume change — that requires injection, not topical HA.

Enough for dry skin?

For dry-to-normal in summer, yes. For genuinely dry skin year-round, layer a heavier cream over it. Hydro Boost alone is humectant-only.

Fragrance — should I worry?

If you have a history of contact reactions, yes. Pick La Roche-Posay Hyalu B5 instead. For most users it's tolerated, but the fragrance is decorative, not functional.

Hydro Boost Gel vs Gel-Cream?

Gel-Cream is heavier — has dimethicone-driven occlusion. Better in winter or for drier skin. Gel is the summer / oily default.
