80⁄100
Cleaner vehicle, much higher cost.
87⁄100

— § 05
Adapalene matches tret 0.025% for acne, outperforms it on tolerability. For pure anti-ageing, tret has a slightly thicker fine-line evidence base. For acne — adapalene is first-line.
Acne improvement starts at week 4-6, plateaus at month 3-4. Stick with it. The 'purge' is real and lasts 6-8 weeks.
Pea-size for full face, on dry skin, at night. Wait 5 minutes after washing. Moisturise after. AM SPF non-negotiable.
All retinoids — adapalene included — are contraindicated in pregnancy. Switch to azelaic acid as the safest pregnancy alternate.
